Job Summary
The Helper assists fitters, welders, and technicians in the assembly, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of food processing and food machinery equipment. The role requires basic mechanical understanding, willingness to learn, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fitters and welders during assembly and fabrication of food machinery
- Help in loading, unloading, and handling machinery components
- Support installation and maintenance work at workshop or site
- Perform basic tasks such as cleaning parts, holding components, and tool handling
- Maintain cleanliness of work area as per food safety and hygiene standards
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior technicians
- Ensure tools, materials, and components are properly arranged
- Follow company safety rules and procedures

- Basic knowledge of tools and workshop practices
- Willingness to learn food machinery work
- Physically fit and hardworking
- Ability to follow instructions properly
- Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as Helper / Technician Assistant
- Experience in food machinery or industrial workshop preferred
- ITI (any trade) preferred but not mandatory
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move components
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Comfortable working in factory or site environment
