Job Title: Evaluator (Used Car Evaluator)
Department: Pre-Owned Car / H-Promise
Location: Classic Hyundai Wayanad
Reports To: General Manager Sales
Job Summary
The Evaluator is responsible for inspecting and assessing pre-owned vehicles to determine their mechanical condition, market value, and resale potential. The role involves conducting vehicle evaluations, preparing reports, and supporting the used car purchase and exchange process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate used vehicles for mechanical, electrical, body, and cosmetic condition.
- Assess vehicle history, mileage, accident records, and service records.
- Determine the market value and resale potential of pre-owned vehicles.
- Prepare accurate evaluation reports and pricing recommendations.
- Coordinate with sales and exchange teams during vehicle purchase and trade-in processes.
- Recommend required repairs or reconditioning work to improve resale value.
- Ensure proper documentation related to vehicle evaluation and purchase.
- Maintain transparency and customer satisfaction during the valuation process.
- Stay updated on used car market trends and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience in automobile service, used car evaluation, or dealership operations is preferred.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and diagnostics.
- Ability to identify vehicle damage, wear and tear, and repair requirements.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for report preparation.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
