Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Nephrologist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with kidney-related diseases and disorders, managing dialysis services, and providing high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and medical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases.
- Evaluate and treat patients with hypertension, electrolyte imbalance, and renal disorders.
- Supervise and manage dialysis procedures including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
- Conduct OPD consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency nephrology care.
- Coordinate with ICU, internal medicine, and other departments for multidisciplinary patient management.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and renal biopsy reports.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Provide patient and family counseling regarding treatment plans and preventive kidney care.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, clinical, and hospital protocols.
- Participate in CMEs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine.
- DM/DNB in Nephrology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Nephrology practice preferred.
- Experience in dialysis management and critical nephrology care will be an added advantage.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of hospital quality standards and infection control practices.
