Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible ETP & RO Plant Manager to manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, monitoring, and compliance of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, RO operations, water quality monitoring, manpower management, preventive maintenance, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete operation of the ETP and RO Plant on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure proper treatment of industrial effluent as per applicable environmental standards.
- Monitor ETP parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, TDS, TSS, flow, conductivity, and chemical dosing.
- Monitor and maintain RO plant performance, recovery rate, pressure, flow, and water quality.
- Ensure proper operation of pumps, motors, blowers, filters, dosing systems, membranes, and other plant equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP and RO equipment.
- Ensure optimum usage of chemicals and maintain proper chemical inventory.
- Maintain daily operational records, logbooks, test reports, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for water and effluent testing when required.
- Ensure compliance with TNPCB and applicable environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, auditors, government authorities, and statutory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Identify operational problems and take timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor sludge generation, handling, storage, and disposal as per applicable requirements.
- Train and supervise ETP/RO operators and technicians.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Track plant operating costs and identify opportunities for reducing water, chemical, power, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of treatment chemicals.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards around the ETP and RO plant.
- Support environmental audits, statutory documentation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Work closely with the Production, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams to ensure smooth plant operation.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech – Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Environmental / Chemical Engineering may also be considered based on experience.
- Relevant experience in ETP, STP, RO, ZLD, or industrial wastewater treatment will be preferred.
Experience
5–10 years of relevant experience in ETP/RO plant operations, preferably in a manufacturing, textile, polyester, dyeing, chemical, or similar industrial environment.

Salary
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30000 per month, based on qualification, relevant experience, and technical expertise.
