Responsibilities include managing bookings, handling inquiries via phone or email, updating guest information, and ensuring company policies are followed. This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills to manage client needs and work efficiently. Key responsibilities
- Booking and processing: Manage room, ticket, or other reservations, including processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
- Sales and revenue maximization: Proactively sell rooms and services, upsell to higher-value options, and maintain awareness of all sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Customer service: Provide expert advice, handle guest inquiries promptly, and maintain a high level of customer service throughout the reservation process.
- Administrative duties: Perform secretarial tasks like preparing correspondence, filing, and managing guest records and marketing databases.
- System management: Accurately input data into reservation systems and ensure all reservation information is correct and up-to-date.
- Policy adherence: Follow company credit policies and adhere to pre-set availability and rate controls.
- Knowledge and communication: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel/travel products and local areas, and communicate with other departments and the revenue management team about business trends.
