A Welder and Fitter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and welding metal parts and structures according to technical drawings and specifications. The role involves using welding equipment, hand tools, measuring instruments, and machinery to ensure high-quality production and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Perform welding using methods such as:
- MIG welding
- TIG welding
- Arc welding
- Gas welding
- Fit and align structural components and pipes.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects.
- Operate grinders, drills, cutting machines, and fabrication tools.
- Maintain workplace safety and follow industrial standards.
- Repair damaged metal structures and equipment when required.
- Measure and mark dimensions accurately.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and fabrication teams.
Required Skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹26,500.00 per month
