Job Summary:
Responsible for providing round-the-clock clinical care, handling emergencies, and ensuring continuous patient monitoring during assigned shifts under the guidance of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct initial evaluations, note down medical history, and monitor vital parameters of inpatients and outpatients.
- Emergency Management: Attend to code blues, stabilize critical patients, and initiate immediate emergency care at discretion.
- Coordination: Inform attending consultants regarding admissions, abnormal lab reports, and patient progress; ensure nursing staff carries out medical orders.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform minor clinical tasks such as wound dressing, catheterization, Ryle's tube insertion, and managing blood transfusions.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date Electronic Medical Records (EMR), prepare detailed discharge summaries, and obtain necessary medical consents.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBBS degree from a recognized institution with a valid state medical council registration.
- Experience: 0 to 3+ years in a hospital setup or ICU environment.
- Skills: Emergency response, basic/advanced life support (BLS/ACLS), strong communication, and high-pressure decision-making
Pay: ₹48,086.00 - ₹156,850.56 per month
