Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations in a fabrication/project/manufacturing environment.
- Handle material receipt, inspection, storage, identification, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain stock registers, inventory records, material issue records, and receipt records.
- Monitor stock levels, material availability, shortages, and material movement.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Fabrication, Projects, Quality, Engineering, and Accounts departments for material requirements.
- Coordinate with outsourcing vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials, components, fabrication items, and services.
- Track purchase orders, material delivery status, pending materials, and vendor commitments.
- Understand fabrication processes, project material requirements, engineering drawings, and production material requirements.
- Support smooth material flow from receipt to storage and issue.
- Ensure proper material identification, tagging, storage, and organization.
- Assist in physical stock verification, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly store reports and submit them on time.
- Maintain proper documentation related to GRN/Material Receipt, Material Issue, Stock, Inventory, Vendor Follow-up, and Material Movement.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and systematic arrangement of engineering, fabrication, electrical, mechanical, hardware, and project materials.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate stock and material records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–1.5 years of experience in Stores / Inventory / Material Management.
- Experience in Fabrication, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Project Industry, or EPC will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Store Management and Inventory Management.
- Basic understanding of material receipt, material issue, stock control, and inventory tracking.
- Experience in vendor coordination and vendor follow-up.
- Good understanding of material availability and project material requirements.
- Ability to learn and understand fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good follow-up skills with vendors and internal departments.
- Ability to prepare structured, accurate, and timely reports.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel / MS Office.
- Candidate should be organized, responsible, proactive, and a quick learner.
