About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CSR Proposal Drafting & Content Writer to support our organization's resource mobilization, project development, and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and research skills, have a strong understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) frameworks, and be capable of developing compelling project proposals, concept notes, reports, and communication materials that align with donor and corporate requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCSR Proposal Development
- Draft high-quality CSR proposals, concept notes, project reports, and funding applications for corporate donors, foundations, government agencies, and international organizations.
- Conduct needs assessments, background research, and stakeholder consultations for project development.
- Design logical frameworks, project objectives, outcomes, indicators, implementation plans, and sustainability strategies.
- Prepare detailed project budgets and supporting documentation in coordination with program and finance teams.
- Customize proposals according to CSR priorities, donor guidelines, and organizational goals.
- Identify and track CSR funding opportunities from corporates and donor agencies.
Content Writing & Communication
- Develop engaging content for organizational profiles, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, websites, and social media platforms.
- Write success stories, case studies, impact reports, press releases, and beneficiary testimonials.
- Create communication materials highlighting project achievements and social impact.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and communication standards across all content.
Research & Documentation
- Conduct sectoral research on social development themes such as education, health, livelihoods, environment, women empowerment, skill development, and rural development.
- Maintain a repository of project data, templates, donor requirements, and proposal documents.
- Support monitoring and evaluation teams in preparing project reports and impact documentation.
Donor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in preparing presentations, pitch decks, and fundraising materials for meetings with CSR partners and donors.
- Coordinate with program teams to gather field data and project information.
- Support relationship-building efforts with corporate CSR departments and funding agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, Development Studies, Public Policy, Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in NGO proposal writing, CSR fundraising, grant writing, or development sector communications.
- Proven track record of drafting successful CSR proposals and fundraising documents.
Essential Skills
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of CSR regulations, development sector frameworks, and donor expectations.
- Ability to prepare logical frameworks, project plans, budgets, and impact indicators.
- Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online research tools.
- Experience in website content management and social media content creation is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Competencies
- Knowledge of Schedule VII of the Companies Act, CSR Rules, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Experience in writing proposals for education, health, environment, livelihood, skill development, rural development, and community empowerment projects.
- Creative storytelling and impact communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number and quality of CSR proposals submitted.
- Funding secured through proposals and donor engagement.
- Timely submission of project reports and communication materials.
- Quality and effectiveness of organizational content and publications.
- Development of new CSR partnerships and funding opportunities.
Experience Required
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in CSR proposal writing, project development, fundraising, and content creation for NGOs, development sector organizations, or social enterprises.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and organizational policies.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
