1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Establish detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules (master plans) based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
- Allocate tasks to specific machines (machine loading) and sequence manufacturing operations to optimize efficiency.
- Analyze capacity vs. demand and adjust manufacturing plans accordingly.
2. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Ensure raw materials, sub-assemblies, and tools are available at the right time to prevent production line stoppages.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to track material lead times and expedite purchases when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize holding costs while meeting production demands.
3. Shop Floor Control & Monitoring
- Track daily production progress against set targets and report real-time status.
- Identify production delays or deviations proactively and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) to ensure production meets required engineering and safety standards.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain accurate data tracking within ERP/MRP systems.
- Generate regular MIS (Management Information System) reports detailing capacity utilization, material consumption, and efficiency metrics.
Education & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6+ years of experience in PPC within a heavy fabrication, automotive, or precision manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
