Service Engineer
Experience: 2 + years of hands-on experience in servicing HHP gensets (above 1000 KVA)
Location: Hyderabad , Telangana
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair services for generators and related equipment.
- Oversee the installation of new generators and ensure proper setup and commissioning.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
- Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance practices, and safety procedures for their generators.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Work closely with sales, parts, and technical support teams to address customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform repairs, replace faulty components, and recommend upgrades to improve generator performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Manage parts inventory on-site to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
- Be available for emergency service calls and provide timely support to minimize downtime for customers.
- Diagnose and repair engine-related issues independently and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 + Years of hands-on experience in servicing HHP gensets (above 1000 KVA)
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Worked with Perkins / Cummins / Caterpillar preferred.
