We are looking for a responsible and proactive Floor Manager to manage our garment production floor. The ideal candidate should be able to handle day-to-day coordination with tailors, ensure smooth production flow, and arrange additional tailoring support whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of tailors on the production floor.
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time without compromising quality.
- Resolve day-to-day issues faced by the tailoring team.
- Coordinate with external tailors or job workers whenever additional manpower is required.
- Monitor productivity and maintain discipline on the production floor.
- Ensure proper allocation of work among tailors.
- Coordinate with the production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations.
- Follow up on pending work and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain production records and report daily progress to the management.
Requirements
- Experience in garment production or apparel manufacturing.
- Good understanding of garment stitching and production processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with both in-house and external tailors.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of production planning will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
- 2–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing.
- Experience in handling tailoring teams is preferred.
- Candidates from apparel, fashion, or textile manufacturing industries will be given preference.
