A PRT (Primary Teacher) is responsible for foundational learning in primary classes, focusing on core subjects and early childhood education. Their duties include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, fostering a positive learning environment, and communicating with parents. They also manage classroom behavior, create learning resources, and participate in school activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:Develop and implement lesson plans for core subjects like literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, and creative arts.
- Assessment and Feedback:Assess student learning through various methods like tests, quizzes, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Classroom Management:Create a positive and engaging learning environment, manage classroom behavior, and ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students.
- Communication:Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Resource Management:Prepare and organize teaching materials, maintain records of student attendance and performance, and ensure the classroom is well-equipped.
