Job Description: CardiologistPosition Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels, while providing patient-centered care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to manage cardiovascular health.
- Conduct interventional procedures (e.g., angioplasty, stenting) if trained and credentialed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital/clinic policies and ethical standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in cardiology through continuous medical education and research.
Qualifications
- Education: MBBS degree with specialization in Cardiology (MD/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent).
