Job Purpose
To ensure the smooth and reliable operation of electrical systems, machines, and equipment by carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and maintaining electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC, VMC, moulding machines, compressors, pumps, coating equipment, and other production machinery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, control panels, MCBs, MCCBs, and electrical circuits.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and restore equipment operation with minimum downtime.
- Perform routine inspection of electrical panels, cables, connections, motors, and other equipment.
- Maintain and update maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Support installation, commissioning, and shifting of electrical machines and equipment.
- Monitor electrical systems and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping around electrical panels and maintenance areas.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company safety standards.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and identify unnecessary power consumption.
- Maintain adequate electrical maintenance tools, spares, and consumables.
- Coordinate with external service providers/vendors whenever specialized electrical work is required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, control panels, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs and starters.
- Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly during breakdowns.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts when required.
Qualification & Experience
- ITI - Electrical / Diploma - Electrical Engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Manufacturing/engineering industry experience preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
