We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Care Specialist, primarily supporting FCL (Full Container Load) – Sea Export operations. In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless coordination, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support customers by providing accurate information, answering queries, and resolving complaints in a timely manner
- Deliver front-line customer support leveraging strong freight forwarding and market knowledge
- Drive customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation in collaboration with Field Sales and the Operational Care Center (OCC)
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers through daily interactions, regular service reviews, and proactive consultation
- Manage booking coordination and operational execution for export shipments
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for assigned customers
- Qualify customer inquiries and prepare quotations within pricing guidelines, ensuring follow-through to closure
- Support customer onboarding, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and integrated into systems
- Process and enter customer orders into the operational workflow
- Collaborate with Finance on credit limit management and resolve any related challenges
- Manage and resolve customer complaints by identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
- Prepare and refine customer performance reportsEnsure delivery against financial targets and strategic objectives
- 5–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, with strong exposure to Sea Export (FCL)
- Experience handling approximately 150 shipment files and 100+ shipments
- Manage 20–25 customer accounts; prior experience handling ~100 accounts end-to-end is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Shipping Instruction (SI) management
- Exposure to both Air & Sea freight operations preferred
- Proven track record of customer management and operational coordination
- Stable career history with a positive, proactive attitude
