This role focuses on overseeing production operations, ensuring targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. It involves managing resources, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate records to optimize efficiency and compliance.
- Major - Responsibilities & Sub - Responsibilities
- Departmental Operations
· Obtain the production program at the beginning of the shift and communicate it to all team members.
· Ensure all shift operators receive the correct number of workers on time.
· Achieve shift production targets and productivity as per standard production rates.
· Ensure plant and manpower requirements are met and utilized efficiently.
· Monitor and achieve production targets consistently.
· Oversee finished product quality and perform sampling as per the sampling plan, maintaining accurate daily records in the appropriate registers.
Identify and improve weak workstations or high workload areas to optimize efficiency.
· Monitor and enforce the FIFO system for raw materials and finished goods.
· Maintain and verify records of prepared batches.
· Verify finished goods (F.G.) bags and ensure proper documentation.
· Update and maintain all display boards daily.
· Monitor and maintain calibration records for all weighing balances.
· Ensure timely cleaning of magnets and maintain related records.
· Address and resolve all production-related problems, including maintenance issues.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in the production area.
· Ensure all employees comply with safety requirements.
Report any deviations to the unit in-charge promptly.
- Qualification & Experience
Specify required qualifications, e.g., Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
Specify years of experience, e.g., 3–5 years in production or manufacturing.
