Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Manager – Human Resources to lead the complete HR function across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Statutory Compliance, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Policy Development, Learning & Development, and Organizational Development within a manufacturing environment.
The role requires a proactive HR leader capable of partnering with business heads to build a high-performance workforce while ensuring legal compliance and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate and plant positions.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract quality talent.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through consultants, job portals, referrals, and social media.
- Ensure timely closure of critical positions.
HR Operations
- Oversee employee lifecycle management from on boarding to exit.
- Ensure accuracy of employee records, documentation, and HRMIS.
- Administer attendance, leave management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance.
Performance Management
- Drive KPI/KRA and Performance Management Systems.
- Coordinate annual appraisal and performance review cycles.
- Monitor employee productivity and development plans.
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct exit interviews and retention analysis.
- Promote employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
Learning & Development
- Identify organizational training needs.
- Prepare and implement annual training calendars.
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, and leadership development programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Labour Laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate labour inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.
- Maintain compliance with Factory Act, Establishment Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other employment laws.
Organizational Development
- Prepare and maintain Job Descriptions.
- Support organizational restructuring and workforce planning.
- Drive HR process improvement initiatives.
- Implement employee engagement and culture-building programs.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS reports.
- Analyze recruitment metrics, attrition, absenteeism, manpower costs, and employee productivity.
- Present HR reports to senior management for decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8 to 9 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong exposure to HR Operations, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Compliance.
- Excellent understanding of Indian Labour Laws and statutory requirements.
- Experience in Performance Management and Organizational Development.
- Knowledge of SAP exposure preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
