We are hiring for one of our clients for Vadodara/Chennai locations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for modifications to existing facilities and new installations.
- Design and detail process and non-process buildings, equipment foundations, machine foundations, pipe racks, pipe supports, pile foundations, and structural connections.
- Conduct adequacy checks of existing structures and foundations.
- Perform structural integrity assessments, retrofit evaluations, and load capacity checks.
- Design onshore structures, skids, offshore structures, and helideck structures.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings.
- Design supports for piping, cable trays, and equipment considering brownfield constraints.
- Review and approve vendor documents, engineering deliverables, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with piping, electrical, instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines.
- Resolve site queries, RFIs, and construction-related technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and international design codes.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection summaries, and design justifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–13 years of experience in Petrochemical, Chemical, or Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards including:
- Eurocodes
- AISC
- ASCE
- API
- PIP
- Singapore Codes
- Experience in brownfield project engineering.
- Experience in modular structure design.
- Knowledge of structural retrofitting and rehabilitation of existing facilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Other relevant structural engineering software
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
Preferred Experience
- Offshore structure analysis and design.
- Helideck structure design.
- Structural skid design.
- Industrial plant and refinery project experience.
