Job Summary
We are looking for a detailed-oriented HR & Payroll Executive to oversee core HR operations, end-to-end payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, and statutory tax compliance. This role acts as a bridge between Human Resources and Finance, ensuring accurate, timely salary disbursements while maintaining positive employee relations and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for all full-time, contract, and temporary employees accurately and on time.
- Track daily attendance, shift logs, leave records, and overtime/loss-of-pay (LOP) deductions.
- Compute bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, arrear payments, and full & final (F&F) settlements for exit cases.
- Generate monthly payslips, payroll registers, and reports for Finance reconciliation.
2. Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Compute, deposit, and file monthly statutory returns including PF (Provident Fund), ESI, Professional Tax (PT), and LWF (Labour Welfare Fund).
- Calculate employee income tax deductions (TDS) on salary, verify Investment Proofs, and issue Form 16 annually.
- Ensure all payroll operations comply with local labor laws, minimum wage acts, and tax regulations.
3. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage onboarding setup: document verification, background checks, HRMS profile creation, and bank account setups.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital employee records.
- Address and resolve employee queries regarding salary slips, tax deductions, leave balances, and company HR policies.
- Coordinate offboarding procedures, exit interviews, and clearance clearances.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), or Human Resources; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in generalist HR operations with a focus on payroll processing.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on proficiency with HRMS and Payroll software (e.g., Keka, RazorpayX Payroll, GreytHR, Zoho People, or SAP HCM).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formulas).
- In-depth knowledge of statutory compliances (PF, ESI, TDS, PT) and local labor laws.
- Soft Skills: High numerical accuracy, strict data confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal communication
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
