Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing two-wheelers to ensure customer vehicles are maintained according to company quality standards. The technician should perform accurate repairs, follow safety procedures, and deliver vehicles with excellent service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic servicing and general repairs of two-wheelers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
- Carry out engine repairs, brake system checks, clutch adjustments, and transmission-related work.
- Inspect and replace damaged parts as required.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, battery checks, and routine maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment effectively.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and service guidelines.
- Conduct final vehicle inspections before delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
- Record repair details and update job cards accurately.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved with proper technical solutions.
- Support senior technicians and service advisors when required.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical systems.
- Understanding of engine, electrical, fuel injection, and braking systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Knowledge of service tools and equipment handling.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a service team.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Freshers with basic automobile knowledge can apply.
- Previous experience in two-wheeler service is an advantage.
Experience
- Freshers to experienced technicians can be considered.
- Experience in authorized two-wheeler service centers preferred.
