SAP Finance Manager with 7-10 years of experience in New GL and Brownfield Migration.
Key Responsibilities

Define and own the FI/CO conversion scope, objectives, timeline, and financial plan.

Build and steer a cross‑functional team (FI/CO functional leads, ABAP developers, data‑migration specialists, change‑management resources).

Create detailed project plans, risk & issue registers; monitor progress against FI/CO‑specific milestones.

Liaise with business finance owners, controlling leads, and IT governance to secure approvals, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.

Ensure compliance with SAP best practices for brownfield FI/CO upgrades (e.g., use of Software Update Manager, Migration Cockpit, SI & Readiness Check tools).

Oversee FI/CO testing strategy—unit, integration, user acceptance, and regression—validating master‑data consistency, period‑close processes, and reporting.

Manage change‑control, quality‑assurance, and configuration‑management activities specific to FI/CO.

Track budget utilization (including licensing, external consulting, and internal effort) and take corrective actions as needed.

Lead go‑live, hyper‑care, and post‑implementation support, ensuring smooth cut‑over of financial periods and minimal disruption to accounting operations.
Required Experience & Qualifications

7-10 + years of SAP implementation experience, with at least 3 years leading FI/CO conversion or upgrade projects.

Demonstrated success in brownfield SAP S/4HANA or ECC FI/CO migrations.

Strong knowledge of FI sub‑modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO sub‑modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
