Job Summary:
The Multi Cuisine Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes across multiple cuisines while maintaining consistency, hygiene, food safety, and kitchen efficiency. The chef will ensure excellent taste, presentation, inventory control, and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook dishes from multiple cuisines (Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian, etc.) as per company recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
- Plan daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service.
- Prepare special dishes and seasonal menu items as instructed by management.
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per FSSAI food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.
- Monitor food temperatures and follow safe food handling practices.
- Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
