Job Summary
The Japanese Teacher is responsible for teaching the Japanese language to students in accordance with the school's curriculum. The role focuses on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while fostering an understanding of Japanese culture, traditions, and communication. The teacher creates engaging lesson plans, assesses student progress, and supports learners in achieving language proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Japanese language lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach Japanese grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Introduce students to Japanese culture, customs, etiquette, and traditions through engaging classroom activities.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, projects, presentations, and classroom participation.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Encourage active participation through interactive language activities, role plays, discussions, and language games.
- Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance language learning.
- Prepare students for Japanese language proficiency examinations (such as JLPT), where applicable.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Japanese, Foreign Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Certification in Japanese language proficiency (such as JLPT N1, N2, or equivalent) is preferred.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or mandatory, as per school requirements).
- Strong command of Japanese and effective communication skills in English and/or the regional language.

Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in Japanese language instruction preferred.
- Freshers with strong Japanese language proficiency, relevant certifications, and teaching aptitude may also be considered.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, school-based position.
- Working hours as per the school's academic schedule.
- Participation in extracurricular activities, language clubs, cultural exchange programs, and school events as required.

Pay: ₹10,294.12 - ₹30,000.00 per month
