Reporting to Regional District Manager, the Business Development Assistant – off trade will play a crucial role in providing general guidance/suggestions on in-market advertising & promotion spends (without binding authority) in Indian Retail market
The role is responsible for building and facilitating the implementation of strategic plans for the region.
The individual will be responsible for building relationships with key decision makers and key customers, based on a brand driven long term mind-set, while securing operational excellence and the highest level of execution.
This team member shall be the eyes and ears of Edrington on the ground and would not only report the findings but would help guiding our distributor, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

Make an Impact
Drive sales, profitability, and market share growth across premium On Trade and Off Trade accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail, hospitality, and distributor partners.
Develop channel-specific strategies to increase distribution, visibility, and premium portfolio mix.
Identify and unlock growth opportunities through market analysis and consumer insights.
Act as a brand ambassador, championing Edrington’s luxury brands, heritage, and values.
Partner with distributor sales and leadership teams to deliver best-in-class execution.
Lead impactful customer activations, promotions, menu listings, and brand experiences.
Collaborate with marketing teams to successfully deliver launches, campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and investment ROI to drive continuous improvement.
Provide forecasting, reporting, and commercial insights to support business planning and achieve growth targets.
Your Talent and Skills
We're looking for a commercially minded and customer-focused sales professional who is passionate about building strong relationships and acting as a proud ambassador for our brands. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your excellent negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills to identify opportunities and drive results. With strong commercial awareness and financial acumen, you'll be comfortable interpreting data, managing performance, and turning insights into action. You'll also be highly proficient with digital tools and systems, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and administrative tasks effectively. A degree-level qualification is advantageous, but most importantly, you'll bring energy, credibility, and a proactive approach to partnership management. As this role involves regular travel across, you'll be comfortable spending time on the road and have the flexibility to work varied hours when required.
