Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting & Detailing: Create and modify detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and structural shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and process building application drawings compliant with local building codes and standards, specifically K-SMART guidelines used across Kerala municipalities.
- Site Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and site supervisors to ensure drawings align with actual site conditions.
- Revisions & Documentation: Update drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and construction progress.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or a recognized certificate in CAD.
- Software Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), with working knowledge of allied software like SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks often required depending on the industry.
- Experience: Typically 1 to 3+ years of experience, although entry-level and fresher roles are also widely available across the state.
- Language Proficiency: Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English are highly valued for client interactions and team meetings
