Role Summary
The Factory Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency of all plant machinery and utilities. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, spare parts planning, cost control, and continuous improvement of equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Planning & Execution
Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all equipment (crusher, mixers, conveyors, packing machines, etc.)
Ensure adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports
2. Breakdown Management
Ensure quick response and resolution of machine breakdowns
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
Minimize downtime and production loss
3. Equipment Reliability & Improvement
Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency
Work on reducing maintenance cost per ton of production
4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Maintain optimal inventory of critical spares
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability
Track usage and reduce wastage/pilferage
5. Utilities Management
Oversee maintenance of electrical systems, compressors, DG sets, water systems
Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities for production
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
