Profile- Procurement Manager – API
Experience Required: 10-12 yr, preferably in Pharmaceutical/API procurement
Salary Range: 18-20 , depending on experience, current CTC, and profile suitability
Working Days -6 days (9:30 am- 6 pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and procurement of APIs from domestic and international vendors
- Identification and development of new API suppliers
- Vendor evaluation and vendor management
- Commercial negotiations, price finalization, and cost optimization
- Purchase planning and timely availability of materials
- Coordination with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams
- Monitoring lead times and ensuring timely procurement
- Maintaining strong commercial and vendor relationships
Candidate Expectations:
- Strong hands-on experience in API procurement
- Good vendor network within the pharmaceutical/API industry
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Ability to independently handle procurement activities
- Good understanding of API pricing, sourcing markets, and supplier evaluation
- Candidates from pharmaceutical/API trading, manufacturing, or export-oriented companies will be preferred
