Management Information Systems (MIS) ExecutivePosition OverviewThe MIS Executive will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting business data to support informed decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Management & Reporting
Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports and dashboards for various departments and management levels
Collect, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as per business requirements
Monitor data quality and implement processes to maintain data integrity
Create and maintain database systems for efficient data storage and retrieval
Analysis & Insights
Analyze business trends, patterns, and KPIs to identify opportunities and areas for improvement
Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable insights for management review
Conduct variance analysis and highlight deviations from planned targets
Support forecasting and budgeting processes with relevant data analysis
System Management
Maintain and optimize MIS software and reporting tools
Coordinate with IT team for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and enhancements
Ensure proper backup and security of MIS data
Document MIS processes, procedures, and system workflows
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with various departments to understand their reporting requirements
Train end-users on MIS systems and report interpretation
Present findings and recommendations to management when required
Respond to data and reporting queries in a timely manner
Required QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
Master's degree or relevant certifications (preferred)
Experience
2-4 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or business intelligence roles
Experience in commercial real estate or professional services environment (advantageous)
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
Experience with database management systems (SQL, Access, or similar)
Familiarity with ERP systems and data integration platforms
Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
