Position - PRODUCTION MANAGER | FASHION HOUSE
Location: Shalimar Bagh, Delhi
Salary Budget: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Manager to manage the day-to-day production operations of our fashion house. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of garment production, quality control, production planning, and vendor/tailor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily garment production according to orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with tailors, cutting, stitching, finishing, embroidery and other production teams.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain required quality standards throughout the production process.
- Check measurements, finishing, stitching and overall garment quality.
- Manage production targets and allocate work efficiently among team members.
- Coordinate with designers and management to understand designs, specifications and production requirements.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues and delays.
- Maintain records of production, inventory, wastage and material requirements.
- Coordinate with fabric, trims and other material suppliers/vendors when required.
- Ensure minimum material wastage and efficient utilization of resources.
- Supervise workers and maintain discipline and productivity on the production floor.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in garment/fashion production preferred.
- Experience in a fashion house, boutique, apparel manufacturing unit or similar setup.
- Strong knowledge of stitching, finishing, garment construction and production processes.
- Good team management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple orders.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates from Delhi/NCR preferred.
