Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the engineering and design team for industrial valves. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing valve design, engineering documentation, customer technical requirements, and coordination with production, quality, procurement, and sales to ensure timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of industrial valves (Ball, Gate, Globe, Check, Butterfly, Plug, Goggle valve etc.).
- Review and approve GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and design calculations.
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, and customer specifications.
- Manage and mentor the design engineering team.
- Provide technical support to production, QA/QC, procurement, and sales.
- Resolve technical issues during manufacturing and customer inspections.
- Drive product standardization, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in industrial valve manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial or team-leading role.
- Strong knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
