Business Development Manager/Technical Sales Manager
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Shift Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Work Mode: On-site (Thane)
Must-Haves for This Role
Education: Bachelors/Masters/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in the Lithium-ion battery or Hydrogen product industry, with team handling experience
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Lithium-ion batteries, BMS, renewable energy and hydrogen tech, calculation, reading BOQs. Familiarity with Zoho CRM preferred as a plus point
Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, team management, presentation, decision-making and negotiation skills.
Candidate preferred location: Thane, Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred (15 to 30 days max)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve business targets.
- Develop sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
- Handle lead generation, client meetings, negotiations and deal closures.
- Review cost estimations, technical proposals and/or tender documents.
- Conduct presentations, demos and client site visits.
- Monitor team performance and ensure quarterly target achievement.
- Mentor team members and improve productivity.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand B2B network through client visits and exhibitions.
Expectation:
Business Development: Proactively expand the corporate network by identifying new opportunities through networking and major events.
Operational Efficiency: Improving team sales processes (e.g., faster deal closure, higher conversion rates).
Risk Management: Maintaining high quality and accuracy in all reviewed proposals and/or tenders.
Team Handle: Full accountability for the team's execution and hitting the allocated quarterly revenue targets.
Client Engagement: Conducting on-site visits and leading presentations/demos for key clients.
Showcasing Expertise: Developing and delivering technical and strategic presentations tailored to client needs.
Compensation Package
Hike on current CTC, based strictly on industry experience, core skills, and technical evaluation.
