We're looking for a Video Editing Intern who enjoys creating high-retention short-form content and wants to work directly with the founders of an early-stage startup.
The Opportunity
This isn't a production-house editing role.
You'll help shape the public voice of Vee Group by editing founder-led content that educates business owners, startup founders and decision-makers across LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
Your work won't just generate views—it will help communicate ideas around psychology, business strategy, AI and entrepreneurship.
Role Details
Position: Video Editing Intern
Mode: Fully Remote
Duration: 3 Months
Compensation: Unpaid
Expected Workload: 10–15 videos every month
Video Length: 30–60 seconds
Turnaround Time: 24–36 hours per edit
What You'll Be Working On
You'll edit videos such as:
- Founder talking-head videos
- Instagram Reels
- LinkedIn videos
- YouTube Shorts
- Performance marketing creatives
- Educational business content
Responsibilities
- Edit 10–15 short-form videos every month
- Create engaging cuts that maximise audience retention
- Add clean subtitles and captions
- Integrate B-roll where required
- Use frames, zooms, callouts and interactive editing styles to improve engagement
- Source royalty-free background music when appropriate
- Follow Vee Group's visual identity and editing style
- Incorporate feedback quickly
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines
Your primary focus will be transforming raw footage into engaging short-form content.
Skills We're Looking For
You should:
- Understand short-form storytelling
- Have good pacing and editing instincts
- Know how to keep viewers engaged
- Be comfortable adding captions and motion elements
- Be organised and able to meet deadlines
- Be open to feedback and continuous improvement
Bonus If You Know
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Adobe Creative Cloud
