Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Copywriter to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, excellent writing skills, and the ability to create clear, engaging, and persuasive content for different platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging copy for websites, social media, advertisements, emails, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Develop creative ideas, headlines, taglines, captions, and promotional content.
- Research topics, products, competitors, and industry trends to create relevant content.
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams to develop effective campaigns.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, tone, and consistency.
- Adapt writing style and tone according to the target audience and brand guidelines.
- Assist in developing content calendars and campaign concepts.
- Ensure all content is original, accurate, and aligned with the company's brand voice.
- Take feedback positively and make revisions as required.
- Stay updated with current content, social media, and digital marketing trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in copywriting or content writing; freshers with strong writing skills may also apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Creative thinking and an ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- Good research and proofreading skills.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing social media captions and advertising copy.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Canva, or similar content/design platforms.
- A portfolio of writing samples is an advantage.
