Role
The Accounts and Admin Officer will be responsible :
· For managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory requirements, and overseeing administrative tasks related to office functioning.
· To oversee and supervise the administrative function of the organization including reception, property / facility management, safety of the work environment, and provision of furnishings and equipment necessary for effective operations
The role demands a high level of integrity, accuracy, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Accounting & Finance
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally.
· Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
· Prepare vouchers, manage petty cash, and maintain supporting documents.
· Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audits.
· Reconcile bank statements and prepare necessary reports.
· As required, ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, etc.).
· Coordinate with the central finance team for budget tracking and fund requests.
· Administration
· Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and office upkeep.
· Support in organizing meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for staff and visitors.
· Liaise with vendors and service providers for contracts, renewals, and payments, as required.
· Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the office.
Qualifications & Experience
Education**: M.Com/ B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience**: 5 or more years of relevant experience in accounting and office administration.
Essential Skills:
· Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Working knowledge of statutory compliances and NGO accounting practices preferred.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
Desirable Attributes
· Prior experience in the development/NGO sector is an advantage.
· Ability to work effectively in a team and support field-level operations.
· High level of integrity, responsibility, and commitment to organizational goals.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
