Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Accountancy to teach students of the Senior Secondary Section (Grades XI–XII). The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual clarity in Accountancy and related commerce subjects, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and develop analytical and practical understanding among students. The teacher should inspire accuracy, logical reasoning, and ethical financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Accountancy to students of Grades XI–XII as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum guidelines.
- Develop strong conceptual understanding in financial accounting, partnership accounts, company accounts, and analysis of financial statements.
- Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with board examination requirements and school objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, assignments, and practical problem-solving sessions.
- Guide students in project work and preparation for board examinations.
- Strengthen students’ analytical, logical reasoning, and numerical accuracy skills.
- Integrate real-life financial examples and case studies to enhance practical understanding.
- Provide remedial support and individualized guidance where required.
- Maintain academic records, assessment reports, and effective communication with parents.
- Contribute to school activities, commerce-related events, and academic planning.
Qualifications & Requirements:Educational Qualification:
(M.Com in Accountancy/Finance preferred)
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Additional qualifications such as CA (Inter), CS (Inter), or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience teaching Accountancy at the Senior Secondary level preferred.
- Exceptional fresh postgraduates with strong subject command and teaching aptitude may also apply.
