Job Title: Civil Engineer (Civil & Basic Plumbing Knowledge)Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with experience in building construction and a basic understanding of plumbing works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising civil activities, coordinating with contractors, monitoring plumbing installations, ensuring quality standards, and completing projects within the planned schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor structural, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Review and interpret civil and plumbing drawings.
- Coordinate with plumbing contractors to ensure proper installation of water supply, drainage, and sewerage systems.
- Verify levels, alignments, dimensions, and quality of executed works.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
- Measure work quantities and assist in billing and BOQ verification.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations.
- Ability to read civil and plumbing drawings.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Site execution and supervision.
- Quantity estimation and BOQ understanding.
- AutoCAD knowledge (preferred).
- MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and team coordination skills.
