As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring that testing activities are executed with precision and reliability. This position involves continuous monitoring and refining of automated testing frameworks to maintain high standards of control, accuracy, and data integrity across various projects. Collaboration with different teams to align testing strategies and deliverables is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing within the development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience in scripting and programming languages relevant to automation.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
