A receptionist serves as the face of an organization, managing the front desk and performing essential administrative duties. They are responsible for greeting visitors, answering and routing phone calls, handling mail, and scheduling appointments to keep the workplace running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Visitor Management: Greet and welcome guests, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
- Communications: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries via phone and email.
- Scheduling: Manage calendars, book conference rooms, and schedule meetings or appointments.
- Correspondence: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Office Security: Maintain workplace security by following safety procedures, monitoring visitor logbooks, and issuing visitor badges.
- Front Desk Upkeep: Keep the reception area and lobby clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary materials (e.g., forms, pens, and brochures.
- Administrative Support: Assist with ad-hoc clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and monitoring office supply inventory
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
