Position Summary: The Detailing Engineer is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans for cold-formed steel (CFS) structures. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design and an ability to translate design concepts into practical, construction-ready drawings.
Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech (Civil Engineering), DCE (Civil)
Background and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of CFS structural components and detailing techniques.
- Experience preparing detailed drawings for CFS and steel structures.
- Ability to interpret design documents and transform them into accurate fabrication drawings.
- Strong knowledge of steel detailing standards and drawing conventions.
- Familiarity with software tools used for CFS detailing and drafting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools for creating 2D and 3D models.
- Ability to work with engineers and fabricators to ensure designs are feasible for construction and fabrication.
- Ability to prepare structural and fabrication packages.
- Experience delivering U.S.-based projects is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for CFS structures.
- Create and modify design layouts for framing, trusses, and panels based on project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with design standards and codes (US, Indian, or other relevant codes).
- Coordinate with the project engineers, drafters, and fabricators to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Provide support and guidance for the fabrication and erection teams.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
- Assist in developing material take-offs, BOM, and other construction documents.
- Support engineers in solving technical issues related to detailing and fabrication.

Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in detailing CFS or steel structures.
- Experience in preparing detailed shop and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with US and Indian standards for structural detailing is preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
