We're hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to own paid media execution for our eCommerce clients — from Amazon Ads and FBA account management to Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
You'll work directly with the founder and client stakeholders, managing live ad accounts and ad spend, so this role needs someone who's hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable owning results.
What You'll Do
- Plan, launch, and optimize Amazon Ads campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) for FBA sellers
- Manage and troubleshoot Amazon FBA operational levers that affect ad performance — listing health, Buy Box, inventory/IPI, A+ content tie-ins
- Build and run Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping/Performance Max, Display) for eCommerce and service clients
- Manage Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns across the funnel — prospecting, retargeting, catalog/DPA setups
- Own campaign budgets and bidding strategy, with a direct line of accountability to ROAS/ACOS and CAC targets
- Conduct regular account audits and identify quick-win optimizations across ad accounts
- Build simple, clear performance reports for clients (spend, ROAS/ACOS, CAC, LTV where available)
- Coordinate with the content/creative side (product listings, ad creatives, landing pages) to improve conversion rate
- Stay current on Amazon Ads, Google Ads, and Meta Ads platform changes and test new ad formats/features early
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally split across an agency and client-side/eCommerce brand environment
- Proven experience managing Amazon Ads + Amazon FBA accounts — you understand ACOS/TACOS, keyword harvesting, negative keyword hygiene, and how listing/inventory health impacts ad performance
- Working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax) and Meta Ads Manager — campaign structure, audience/creative testing, pixel/conversion tracking
- Comfortable with data: Excel/Google Sheets at minimum; bonus if you've used tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Google Analytics (GA4), or Meta/Google reporting APIs
- Strong ownership mentality — you can be handed an ad account and a target, and run with it
- Clear communicator — able to explain campaign performance to non-technical founders/clients in plain language
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team with direct founder access (not a large agency hierarchy)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, A+ Content, or Amazon DSP
- Familiarity with GEO/AI-search visibility concepts (we'll train you further, but curiosity here is a plus)
- Prior experience with pet products, D2C, or other consumer eCommerce categories
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals (helps when campaigns and organic strategy need to align)
