Job Summary
The Installation Engineer is responsible for the installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) laboratory furniture, including ESD tables, chairs, workstations, storage units, and related accessories at customer sites. The role requires coordination with customers, adherence to installation schedules, and ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties
Site Installation
Install and assemble ESD tables, chairs, workstations, cabinets, racks, and laboratory furniture as per approved layout and drawings.
Site Preparation
Verify site readiness before installation and report any discrepancies or civil issues.
Drawing Interpretation
Read and interpret installation drawings, floor layouts, and technical documents.
ESD Compliance
Ensure all ESD products are installed as per ESD standards, including proper grounding and earthing where applicable.
Quality Check
Inspect completed installations for alignment, stability, workmanship, and functionality.
Customer Coordination
Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project teams during installation activities.
Material Management
Verify received materials against packing lists and report shortages or damages.
Documentation
Maintain installation reports, site progress reports, checklists, and customer sign-off documents.
Troubleshooting
Identify and resolve installation-related issues at customer sites.
Safety Compliance
Follow company safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE during installation activities.
Tool Maintenance
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of installation tools and equipment.
Project Completion
Complete installations within committed timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Training
Provide basic product handling and usage guidance to customers after installation.
Travel
Travel extensively across India for installation, commissioning, and service support.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly and installation techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and layouts.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of ESD workstations and grounding concepts.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Educational Qualification
- ITI (Fitter/Electrician) / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical) may also be considered.
Experience
- 0–3 years in installation, project execution, furniture installation, laboratory setup, industrial equipment installation, or similar field.
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude may also be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Installation of ESD furniture and laboratory workstations.
- Industrial furniture installation.
- Clean room or electronics manufacturing facility setup.
- Office furniture or modular workstation installation.
- Customer site project execution.
Pay: Up to ₹240,000.00 per year
