Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and commercial success of Ayuryoga International. This role focuses on expanding the center’s reach within the Mauritian and international wellness markets, building high-value partnerships, and enhancing the visibility of our specialized Ayurvedic, Physiotherapy, and Wellness treatments.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Market Expansion
- International Medical Tourism: Develop and execute a strategy to attract international wellness tourists from Europe, Reunion Island, and South Africa.
- Corporate Wellness Programs: Pitch and secure partnerships with major corporate entities in Mauritius (Moka Smart City, Ebene Cybercity, etc.) for employee wellness and stress management retreats.
- Market Research: Monitor trends in the global Ayurveda and physiotherapy sectors to introduce new, competitive services.
2. Partnership & Network Management
- Hospitality Synergy: Establish B2B partnerships with luxury hotels and resorts to provide specialized Ayurvedic services to their guests.
- Healthcare Collaboration: Network with local clinics, GPs, and insurance providers to position our Research Centre as a premier referral site for post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
- Distribution Channels: Manage relationships with travel agencies, wellness platforms (e.g., MariDeal), and online booking aggregators.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Revenue Optimization: Analyze current service performance and implement pricing strategies to maximize occupancy during off-peak hours.
- Campaign Management: Work with the marketing team to design seasonal offers (e.g., Detoxification, Post-Surgical Recovery packages) and monitor their ROI.
- Membership & Loyalty: Design and launch a "Wellness Membership" program to increase the 99% repeat customer rate even further.
4. Brand Leadership & Research Promotion
- Public Relations: Represent the Centre at international wellness expos, trade fairs, and local health seminars.
- Research Visibility: Highlight the "Research" aspect of the centre by promoting clinical success stories and evidence-based Ayurvedic practices to build high-level brand authority.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: 5+ years of proven success in business development or sales, ideally within the Wellness, Healthcare, or Luxury Hospitality sectors in Mauritius.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or other international languages is an advantage given our clientele.
- Knowledge: A deep appreciation or foundational understanding of Ayurvedic principles,SPA and Physiotherapy trends.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month
