- Qualification: BE Mechanical/Diploma Mechanical.
- Experience: 15-25 Years of experience in New Product Development Construction Equipment Industry. Experience in Concrete Equipment will be an added advantage.
- Requisite: Fair Knowldege of computer-based tools like NX Nastran, Solid Edge, Teamcenter, Microsoft ERP. Good knowledge of Standards pertaining to material and design processes.Design Calculations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Initiating & managing the entire product development including requirement analysis, finalizing specifications in collaboration with Marketing Team, validating designs and prototype development activities.
- Initiate & Evaluate design concepts with a key focus on Quality, Cost, Delivery & Serviceability.
- Establishing Vendor base for New Products in coordination with Materials Department.
- Monitoring projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs, quality compliance and manpower planning to ensure timely execution of various development projects, to meet company deadlines and expectations.
- DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly), designing and implementing processes and procedures to facilitate the cost-effective manufacturing of New Products in a timely manner.
- Maintaining technical documentation and describing the specifications/usage of products.
- Resolving issues with 8-D, Fishbone, Impact mapping tools.
- Resolving customer issues by providing engineering support.
- Value Engineering of existing products & processes for enhancing operational efficacy, reducing wastages, and achieving maximum cost savings.
- Maintaining a close relationship with Purchase Team, Quality, and Manufacturing department to facilitate tooling improvements.
- Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
