Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer needs and define optimal product/solution strategies aligned with business goals and target industries.
- Assess business potential in collaboration with Sales/BD teams to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Support product roadmap execution in line with business objectives.
- Identify new product opportunities, portfolio gaps, and expansion areas.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to enable data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to product positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.
- Drive product lifecycle management (NPI, enhancement, phase-out).
- Support forecasting and revenue planning based on market insights Evaluate new technologies and strengthen supplier ecosystem.
- Align product roadmap strategy with key industry segments to drive focused growth
2. Functional Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and provide optimal techno-commercial solutions across Glomore product lines.
- Support Sales/BD teams in RFQs, proposals, and technical discussions to drive business conversion
- Coordinate with suppliers for product selection, customization, and technical support.
- Support AI-enabled solution requirements in coordination with customers and suppliers where applicable.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity in documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Engage with OEMs to identify application requirements and recommend suitable solutions
- Drive product development/customization and ensure application feasibility
- Support customer evaluation stages, including design-in activities where applicable
- Own product technical knowledge and resolve complex application queries
- Conduct product testing, validation, and ensure compliance with requirements
- Perform market research and competition analysis to support product strategy
- Prepare and manage product documentation (datasheets, certifications, presentations)
- Deliver product training to internal teams and customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support day-to-day business activities
- Maintain MIS, trackers, and ensure timely reporting
- Ensure quick response (TAT) to customer and internal querie

To qualify for the role, you must have –
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related field
- 4 ~ 7 years of experience in Product Engineering, Product Management, techno-commercial roles in the electronics components industry
- Strong application knowledge of electronic components such as electromechanical components, circuit protection devices, active passive components, thermal printers, display solutions, biometric sensors, AI-based products, battery packs, wireless and IoT solutions.
- Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals, circuit behavior, and basic embedded/microcontroller interfacing.
- Experience in product evaluation, validation, and application feasibility for customer requirements.
- Familiarity with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity in documentation, analysis, and communication
- Exposure to OEM engagement and handling customer requirements across industries (Automotive, Industrial, Telecom, Medical, Energy Power, Lighting, Consumer, Strategic electronics etc.).
- Understanding of product lifecycle management (NPI, enhancement, phase-out) and market/competition analysis
- Hands-on experience in RFQ handling, techno-commercial discussions, and solution positioning
- Ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities and support revenue growth
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in MIS, reporting, and data analysis
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and adaptable with willingness to travel
