About the Role
The Senior Accountant shall be responsible for managing the complete accounting and financial operations of the organisation. The incumbent will ensure statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, efficient cash flow management, tax case handling, audits, cost analysis from time to time, payroll accounting, taxation, finance arrangements as per requirements, and management reporting while supporting business operations across multiple project sites.
The role requires a high level of integrity, ownership, analytical ability, and compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
* Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure proper accounting of revenue, expenses, costing, assets, liabilities, and depreciation.
* Verify all accounting entries before finalization
* Upkeep of Complainces
* Complete Filing of all types of taxes
* Handling Tax matters
* Leading scrutiny and Audits
* Coordination with CA, CS and other outsourced finance agencies
Banking & Cash Flow
* Prepare daily fund position and cash flow statements.
* Monitor bank balances and working capital requirements.
* Prepare bank reconciliations.
* Coordinate with banks regarding loans, limits, guarantees, and banking documentation.
Statutory Compliance, Ensure timely filing of:
* GST Returns
* TDS Returns
* Income Tax compliances
* Professional Tax (where applicable)
* Labour-related financial compliances
* Maintain statutory records and documentation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Verify vendor invoices and purchase bills.
* Process vendor payments as per approval matrix.
* Monitor customer receivables.
* Follow up for outstanding collections.
* Prepare ageing reports for receivables and payables.
MIS & Financial Reporting. Preparing:
- Monthly MIS Reports
- Cash Flow Reports
- Budget vs Actual Analysis
- Department-wise Cost ReportsProfitability Reports
- Financial Dashboards
* Present reports to the Managing Director.
Fixed Asset Management
* Maintain fixed asset register.
* Account for heavy equipment, cranes, machinery, and vehicles.
* Calculate depreciation.
* Coordinate physical verification of company assets.
Project Accounting
* Maintain project-wise cost accounting.
* Track equipment deployment costs.
* Monitor project profitability.
* Prepare project-wise financial analysis.
Internal Controls
* Ensure adherence to company financial policies.
* Strengthen internal financial controls.
* Identify financial risks and recommend corrective measures.
* Ensure proper approval and documentation before every financial transaction.
Team Management
* Supervise junior accountants.
* Review accounting work.
* Train team members.
* Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
Mandatory Qualification
* B.Com
.
Preferred
* M.Com
* CA (Inter)
* CMA (Inter)
Experience
* 5–8 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
* Experience in Crane Rental, Equipment Rental, Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, Manufacturing, Mining, or Renewable Energy companies will be preferred.
Required Strong knowledge of :

* 100% statutory compliance within due dates.
* Monthly books closed within *5 working days*.
* Annual financial statements finalized within prescribed timelines.

* Vendor payments processed as per agreed timelines.
* Employee salaries processed accurately and on time.
* Timely submission of monthly MIS reports.
* Effective receivable collection and reduction in overdue balances.
* Accurate bank reconciliations.
* Reduction in audit observations.
* Maintenance of accurate accounting records with minimal errors.
Working Hours - As per company policy.
Compensation - As per company norms and candidate's qualifications and experience.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,575.32 per month
