We are seeking a detail-oriented Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe audio recordings dictated by property and casualty insurance claims adjusters and other stakeholders into written statements and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology, and a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict client data confidentiality.
Reporting to management or the file supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the accurate and structured transcription of audio files in English (insureds’ statements, adjusters’ notes, investigation reports, recorded interviews) into clear, precise written documents that comply with the firm’s standards.
Accurately transcribe recorded statements and audio notes from claims adjusters- Review, proofread, and format documents according to internal standards
- Ensure linguistic quality (grammar, spelling, insurance terminology)
- Meet file processing deadlines
- Maintain strict confidentiality of personal and sensitive information
- File and upload documents into electronic claim management systems

- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/Insurance & Risk Management Operations/Logistics

- 1-3 years of prior experience in the transcription industry (insurance or related field considered a strong asset)
