Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Assistant to support individuals in their daily lives within a care home or private home setting. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
- Help with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
- Support with organising appointments and social activities
- Utilise IT devices to update records and communicate effectively with team members
- Drive residents or clients to appointments, outings, or errands as needed
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents or clients safely
- Knowledge of care plans and home care procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
