Job Summary:
We are looking for a Warranty Assistant for our automobile dealership. The candidate will be responsible for handling vehicle warranty claims, documentation, coordination with the OEM, and ensuring timely approval and settlement of warranty cases as per company and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting warranty claims to the automobile manufacturer (OEM).
- Verifying warranty eligibility of vehicles as per policy.
- Maintaining proper warranty documentation, job cards, invoices, and supporting records.
- Coordinating with service advisors, technicians, and workshop staff for required warranty information.
- Following up with the OEM for claim approvals, rejections, and settlements.
- Updating warranty status in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Ensuring compliance with OEM warranty policies and dealership SOPs.
- Handling warranty audits and responding to OEM queries.
- Tracking pending warranty claims and ensuring timely closure.
- Supporting the service department in reducing warranty rejections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile dealership warranty handling.
- Good knowledge of automobile parts, service processes, and warranty policies.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, DMS).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple claims.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in dealership environment is mandatory.
- Knowledge of OEM warranty systems is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
