Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and student-centric Education Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right courses and career paths. The role involves counselling students and parents, handling inquiries, converting leads into enrollments, and maintaining strong follow-ups to achieve admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on courses, career paths, and institute offerings
- Handle walk-in, telephonic, website, and reference-based inquiries
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions and explain course benefits
- Follow up with interested candidates to close admissions
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for batch allocation
- Support students during admission and documentation processes
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Participate in career seminars, school/college events, and promotional activities
Required Skills & CompetenciesFunctional / Technical Skills
- Experience in education counselling or academic sales
- Knowledge of course counselling and admission processes
- Basic proficiency in CRM tools / MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to explain programs, fees, and career outcomes clearly
Behavioral / Soft Skills
